Hanxuan Wang

Hanxuan Wang is a film director and screenwriter currently based in New York, USA. He earned his bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production, with a minor in Art History, from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. His short film "East Coker" was an official selection at the 2024 International Film Festival Rotterdam. The short film "The Sea is All about Us", which he wrote and produced, received the Grand Jury Award at the Hishorts Short Film Festival and was nominated at the First International Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival (Oscar Qualified). Currently, he is pursuing a master's degree in film directing at Columbia University's School of the Arts. He is also working as the assistant professor to the Chair of the Directing Department, Bogdan George Apetri.
